Cuilcheanna House has been providing quality bed and breakfast accommodation for over 50 years with many guests returning year after year. Glencoe and Ballachulish are on the doorstep, Fort William, The Outdoor Capital of the UK, and Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles, are 9 miles away. Lochaber offers a multitude of activites for those who love the great outdoors. Cuilcheanna House is ideally placed for the ski range at Glencoe and the Nevis Range at Aonach Mor and there is excellent local walking to suit all tastes and abilities - whether its Ben Nevis in Fort William or the Glencoe Lochan. There is an abundance of local wildlife and you may be lucky enough to spot roe deer, red squirrels, seals and otters, and of course experience the rich variety of bird life. We are also dog friendly too!

Glencoe and Leven

Glencoe is situated on the main A82 road from Stirling and the Trossachs to Fort William and is a famous pass between the mountains. From the top of the pass you look down over Loch Leven, the village of Ballachulish and the Corran ferry beyond. There are excellent outdoor activities to be enjoyed in the area with Skiing at the Glencoe Ski Centre, great walking, some serious rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and sailing. The beauty of the area is breathtaking. There is also a Glencoe visitor centre for learning more about the history of the area and the famous massacre.
