Craigrowan is ideally situated for exploring the peninsulas of Ardnamurchan and Morvern, and is within easy reach of the ferry from Lochaline to the Isle of Mull. Ardnamurchan is famous for its variety of wildlife, and the patient visitor may be rewarded by the sight of otters, deer, Golden and Sea Eagles and many other native species. We are very close to the shores of Loch Sunart,and there is a recently built slipway at the jetty from which to launch dinghys and larger craft to explore the sheltered waters of this spectacular loch. Strontian is also an easy drive from Fort William, and of course Ben Nevis, GlenCoe, and the West Highland rail-line There are many local walks, as easy or strenuous as you wish, and we offer drying facilities just in case it
rains.There is plenty of off-road parking and bikes can be kept under cover.There is also room to park a dinghy. We are happy to accept well-behaved dogs,we just request that they are not left,unattended, in the rooms and are put in the car during breakfast.
