Centrally situated 4-star accommodation in Edinburgh just off the south west corner of the famous Bruntsfield Links, Cluaran Guest House is a large terraced Victorian home dating from the 1860's. The property has been completely renovated and redecorated in bright, harmonious colours to compliment its very airy, spacious interior. The accommodation includes: The Imperial Room - For that Special Anniversary Occasion with King size bed and three further Double rooms available (one can accommodate up to 5). One room is situated on the ground floor for those not wishing or unable to climb stairs. There is also one twin room, and as with the other large rooms it has an ensuite bathroom and is decorated in traditional style with modern pine and warm peach colours. The single has a comfortable antique Victorian bed and a private bathroom across the landing which contains a bath and shower.

The Old Town of Edinburgh is built on a ridge that rises gradually from the Palace of Holyrood to Edinburgh Castle. There are staircase lanes, called Wynds, that lead off this 'Royal Mile' that give the impression of the city being built on multiple levels and buildings that date from the 11th Century. The New Town is also a World Heritage Site with its mix of Georgian town houses and the earliest examples in Europe of tenement flats. The views to be had from the Castle, Arthur's Seat and Carlton Hill are dramatic and inspiring.
