The Estate is situated on the fringe of the Scottish Highlands and the recently designated Loch Lomond National Park. Just to the north is the Lake of Menteith, the only LAKE as supposed to LOCH, in Scotland. Close by are the famous Trossachs, an area of outstanding natural beauty and closely associated with Rob Roy MacGregor and many exciting periods of Scottish History. Cardross Holiday Homes are ideally situated for visiting Scotland’s major cities, the Highlands and both coasts. The estate amenities include a Victorian Pinetum/ woodland walk, oak parklands and walking along or fishing on our own 3 miles stretch of the river Forth. For the keen angler the well known Lake of Menteith Fishery is just down the road, the eager cook so will find the Nick Nairn Cooks’ School equally close by. For those interested in Botany etc the estate borders Flanders Moss, one of the foremost Raised Bogs in Europe. Not forgetting the wonderful scottish countryside and hills for the walker.

The Trossachs
The Trossachs is an area of outstanding beauty that is easiest accessed via the M9 motorway to Stirling and through the town of Callander or by driving North from Glasgow and in to the Loch Lomond National Park. Beautiful scenery and lovely walking can be found with an information centre called the Trossachs Discovery Centre to be found on Aberfoyle's main street.
