Set in the beautiful rural landscape of Ordiquhill, on the North East Coast of Aberdeenshire, this secluded croft is a very special hideaway from city cares. Balwarren is within easy travelling distance of Turriff, Banff, Keith, Cornhill, Portsoy, Cullen, Buckie and Elgin. It is referred to in the guests visitors book as a 'hidden gem'. The Balwarren Bed & Breakfast Accommodation consists of one twin and one double room both of which are en-suite. The beds are new with quality mattresses and the wind dried bedding a pleasure to sink into. A television is supplied in both bedrooms. The Balwarren Bed & Breakfast dining area is a delight where plants thrive in the sunny warmth of this charming room. The superb sitting room is welcoming with a mini minstrel's gallery, books and cascading plants. So that our guests may relax in peace and comfort after a day of sight-seeing, we have deliberately not included a television in the sitting room.

The Private House Stay's Guide
North-East Scotland
North-East is the Private House Stays name given to the Area of Aberdeenshire that runs from Angus, up the East coast to the Moray Firth and bordered by the Cairngorms to the West. It is an area steeped in history seemingly with every village containing an ancient castle and grand estates everywhere. The area includes Royal Deeside, the Queen's summer palace at Balmoral, Speyside and a concentration of much of Scotland's whisky industry.
