Achaban House, a former manse, is over 150 year old. The house is less than one mile from Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull, off the beautiful west coast of Scotland. The 4000 to 5000 year old standing stone in the grounds is the perfect place to take in the picturesque views over Loch Pottie. The proximity to Fionnphort makes us the ideal choice for those wishing to explore the historic Island of Iona, the birthplace of Scottish Christianity and the final resting place for many Scottish kings and queens. The accommodation comprises: 1 family, 2 doubles, 2 twins and 1 single room each having views over the surrounding open countryside. The wide landing leads to Iona, a large south-facing twin room with bay window and a private bathroom. Pottie, a double south facing room with en suite shower room and Loch view. Kintra, a double room with en suite shower, Torr Mor a twin room with en suite shower room and Creich a generously proportioned en suite single room. The sitting room on the
ground floor has a good selection of games, guide books, maps and an open fire in the evenings. The bright and informal dining room reflects the atmosphere of the large family that enjoyed the house over many generations. The family room (1 double and 2 single beds) with large en suite shower room, is suitable for wheel chair access.
