Aberlaw Guest House is an imposing villa of the Victorian age, tastefully refurbished with Modern facilities but still maintaining the original Victorian theme. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and one room has its own private en-suite bathroom. Our Aim is to provide “Good Auld Fashioned Dundee hospitality†as commented in our Guest Book by Brian Cox the Hollywood Film Actor who stayed with us in April 2009 while filming a Documentary on Dundee's Jute Industry. Private car parking facilities are situated at the rear of the property so once guests arrive they can park and relax. We are fortunate to have a local restaurant within a 5 minute walk offering snacks and meals. Regardless of your length of stay whether work related or pleasure we will do our best to make you feel “Home from Homeâ€.

The Private House Stay's Guide
Dundee
Scotland's fourth largest city sits on two prominent hills, Balgay and the Law, overlooking the River Tay. There is a fantastic freshness to the air in Dundee that has transformed itself into a city with impressive high-tech industries that adds to the high quality houses that were built out along the Tay towards Broughty Ferry when the city was built on wealth that was earned from the Jute trade. One of Dundee's big attractions is Captain Scott's ship, the Discovery. Dundee also has a thriving arts scene and plenty of good shops, bars and restaurants.
